Ridesigned X Ridley

As a child, I remember only ever wanting clothes from the mall. The mall being Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and American Eagle.

This movement, spearheaded by popular teens and out-of-state cousins, was brutal for young girls trying to navigate the world of personal style at the mercy of their parent’s opinions and purse strings.

When I finally did get my hands on a shirt from A&F, it was an aggressive graphic tee with “Take A Hike” branded across the back.

Lovely.

My peers were spritzing Hollister’s signature scent while I was scouring the racks of Value City for acceptable jean shorts, last-season American Eagle, and sterling silver hoops.

My mother, a persistent bargain shopper, dragged my sister and I to thrift shops, consignment stores, and antique malls until we grew up and realized it was cool.

Today, hunting down unique clothing, furniture, and housewares is ultimately what I love the most.

Ridesigned is a creative portfolio rooted in curated vintage, unique interiors, and eclectic style. Founded as a means to document adventures, showcase different projects, and archive one-of-a-kind finds, it is a virtual expression of all my favorite things.
